What bar tape Harry Hall bike (period correct)

I’ve just bought this, I think the bikes late 80’s -90’s.

What bar tape would be a good choice/period correct

For long distance audaxing

They're both a bit new for period correct (though I could be wrong). I'd go for original Ambrosio Bike Ribbon. There's a fair amount of choice in the NOS market place.

You're not wrong mate, the perforated tape looks classic, the cork not so much. They are both much kinder on aging hands though

Pushing 66 is why I use Cinelli cork.

The BBB is very similar and a fraction of the price. Give it a go, I don't use any other cork tape now. I used to use the Cinelli cork too.

The fluo yellow would be period correct for the late 80's / early 90's

Having enlarged the pic to get a better look at things, it looks like that yellow tape is Bike Ribbon or something similar. The wrapping technique is questionable but each to their own though.
I get my Cinelli tape pretty cheap anyway. I've gone back to using black tape rather than white or coloured and the first thing I do is to remove the d*mn silly adhesive strip before wrapping my bars.
