What are these? Fork air valve plugs?

Thought I'd finally found some Sid air valve plugs in my stash. I knew they were around somewhere and appeared while looking for something entirely different the other day.

Woohoo I thought as I've a fork missing one.

My joy was short-lived however as they didn't fit. My sids require to pump adapter.

So what forks are these for?

They are a hard-ish rubber and threaded. Twice the size (threaded part) of the pump adapter hole on my sids at a guess.

Could they be pedal plugs? Looks similar to a part I pulled when regreaseing some Wellgos recently 20250322_094122.webp
Cover would thread in this end

Not sure they are big enough for that. I'd guess the threaded bit is around the same diameter as a Schraeder valve internally.

They are the plugs that come with new Shimano hydraulic disc brake calipers and when the caliper gets installed they get chucked in a drawer never to be used again.
