They are Marin-lite brakes, oem on mid to late 90s marins

ok, thanks a lot! so the are not rare? they are on my marin pine mountain. there was also a manitou answer 4 in it. was the bike originally build this way?

Sounds like the right spec. Marin and Manitou went hand in hand. Those brakes were based on avid trialign which was another Marin tie-in

My 95 pine came with rigid forks, but I'm sure the manitous were available as an option.

They're Marin Lite brakes based on the Avid Tri Align. Taiwanese made and a bit of a nightmare to set up compared to the Avids. Nice looking brake but strictly mid-range componentry at best.
