What a setup

I used to ride a pink Orbit lo-pro frame just like this that belonged to a friend back in 1990 for local time trials, except mine had a normal flat road stem and cow-horn bars. These were the remnants from the 80's approach to speed before the widescale adoption of tri-bars. Regardless, it was superfast and you really felt it 'cos your nose was low to the ground. Great fun.

Ah yes.
All the cable stops crudely cut off a classic frame...
The dropouts crushed in from 126.
A 25.4 mtb bar in an Italian 26 stem.
A single bmx lever, or even a v lever on the original front caliper.

All topped off with an amazon plastic trispoke wheel.

Fewer now than there were, but I still carry the scars.
