What 1" sus forks for old Clockwork/Prestige?

I have a 1'' steerer for those forks, but i dont have the required shim! total length is 193mm £10 posted!

MAXTHEROTTI, what is the travel on the RC35's - would it be OK for the geometry of the Prestige do you reckon? I'm definitely interested.

Foolzgold, I'm also really interested in the steerer. Is it an easy enough job to switch them over (i.e. DIY)?

they are 65mm travel as for right for your frame geometry i have no ideal but i would imagine they would be fine.
they are about right on my 94 cannondale bote

Yeah 2 pinch bolts on the back of the fork then it should slide out! . . . . you may need a shim though (From 1'' to 1''1/ Just backdated will have these as well as other length steerers (Steel and Alloy), my forks cost me a furtune but their mint!

Thanks for the help and advice everyone. Within a few hours of posting here I have sourced not 1 but 2 sets of forks which should be great for building up both frames.
