weighing bikes

bored... want to know how much all my bikes weigh... :roll:
are cheap fishing scales any good? I want them to be accurate, but only to about 100g

sit there and add up the frame and all the components using weight weenies. It'll occupy your time more.

I used to use the big carcase scales at the work[ex-butcher]
They could weigh up to 200kg in one gram increments

We've all been there...

Both Ultimate and Park do decent scales that can be hung or clamped in a bike stand. Accurate to 100g. if memory serves. I have the Ultimate Alpine scale and often find it depressing as my bikes weight more than I think they should.

Buy some cheap ones that show an unrealistically low weight (by about 10% should do it).
