Wear a helmet or not?

Just the pad and a bit of string should do it

And i would see the doctor about your flappy legs

I had a look at the local accident statistics. Saw that walking up a flight of stairs is actually more risky, wrt head injuries, than riding a bicycle.

Decided not to wear a helmet when walking up the stairs.

I’m going to ride my bike up the stairs. Proper safe.

I'm a firm believer in wearing a helmet - I've worn one since the mid 80's when I got serious about cycling in the city. The new ones are much more comfortable and well vented now. I don't think I'd spend a fiver on one, but you don't need to spend a huge amount to get a decent quality one. Personally, I'm buying ones with the MIPS system because I want to protect my brain as best as I can from concussion after having a co-worker deal with one recently.
