No. I don't want a CamelBak.

I think for people who ride long/warm mtb RACEs, a CamelBak is a must because the other two alternatives aren't viable:

~ Just a water bottle or water bottles (x2), then when empty just get thirsty and dehydrated.

~ Just a water bottle or water bottles (x2), then when empty, top up those water bottles, by stopping at "a table", and top up water bottles with 1 Litre bottles in rucksack.

Tescos do one for about 15 pounds! Hardly expensive

In the end tho, if your used to using a bottle and like that, then use that. As long as you get the fluids you want then it doesn't matter IMHO

Which is why I use the bottle of energy drink first. And then go over to gels.
