Wasn’t sure where to post Shimano Deore M510 Freehub Rocking

I took apart a used FH-M510 Deore Rear hub as it was bought with some declared issues (bearings seemed OK but FH was a bit noisy/gritty).
Disassembly was a lesson, but I managed to get it all apart OK.
So, I can rebuild the hub easily, I.e. clean and regrease, but the Freehub body itself rocks a lot on the hub. With the cassette fitted it moves a good few mm at the extremities.
Is this fixable or do I need another FH body?
Once taken fully apart, the Freehub body seems solid with no apparent play. Could it have been something under the FH washer causing the rock?

Any ideas?
Thanks.

Check that the freehub body is tight on the hub (10mm allen key down the axle hole from the right). Very ccasionally the locking part collar can crack through.
