Have got a pair of Diatech Nifo cable disc brakes which have been lying around for a while, so I thought I'd attached them to something. During the build up process I found that the inner circle of the disc was too small, so it wouldn't mount on to a 6 bolt disc hub. No problem I thought, I'll just use normal discs. Then i get the idea of finding somewhere that'll enlarge the inner hole slightly for them to fit on current hubs, but then comparing the discs to see what the inner size difference is I've noticed that the actual 6 holes of the Diatech disc is different to the current disc I have from a 2020 Clarks disc brake set.
My question is were the 6 bolt pattern in 1998 era different to the 6 bolt pattern now?
nb: They got a good review from MBUK back in 1998, and paired with a set of v brake levers, they actually feel pretty good (the instructions say use with canti lever, but they are way too spongy). ALso using normal dics. the pads are quite big, so they overlap by a bit, and luckily since then i've managed to source a Diatech front hub to mount the front disc on to, I just need a rear now.
