As titled.
My BB shell is 68mm and I'm planning to use a white industries crank, any suggestion on the axle length? Let me know what do you have.

Cheers

Re:

I've got a few now real crank case bottom brackets and a fair few Shimano ones. If you figure out the axle length I may have something of interest.

WI/Sugino cranks take a 113, although I ran happily with 110.

Great! Thank you.
I have seen most of the XTR is 68x107, do you think it will work too?

BB-UN90 are only available with a 107 spindle, but you can use a BB-UN91 which exist in 113mm length.

The problem you will find is that the chainline is too far to the left with a 107. In all probability when on the middle ring the chain will catch / rub the big ring on a couple of gears. The XTR BB was only made for the XTR chainset, so 107.

If you want a decent light BB use either a UN70/71/72 or UN55 which all have a hollow shaft. Alternatively buy a Token BB (try highonbikes.com) which is lighter than the UN72 by a fair bit.

Re:

no idea if you are still looking but I have a very little use (bought by me new not all that long ago) UN54 square taper BB for 68mm shell, with 110mm axle. pm me if you want to know more.
