Wanted: Raleigh frameset late 80's Gerald O'Donovan

Hi there,

I'm in the market for an 80's Raleigh Gerald O'Donovan (Go'D stickered) frameset. I was very fortunate to get a yellow and white '87 531 frame through Retrobike and love it - and wish to find another backup frame.

I'm searching for a 22.5" (57cm) centre to top frame, particularly if its clean and undented. The nicer the better really...

The Raleigh 1987 catalogue on this site shows some similar models - such as the blue and white training frame (the track frame isn't half bad either...haven't seen one of those!).

If you have anything like this - do let me know.

I've got a 1987 champagne and bronze Raleigh 531ST frameset, 21 1/2", as shown in the catalogue on this web-site. It is pretty much immaculate and has a Gerald O'Donovan sticker.

I have had it from new and used it for light summer touring in the Netherlands. It is a touring bike though, not just a frameset, and is fitted with European 1980s compnentry and a honey Brooks Swallow.

I am thinking of selling, but as a complete item.
