Wanted. Oldish steel road bike with modern bits

Looking for a nice 56 or 58 inch bike (awkwardly i've 32' inside leg with a long back) with STIs. Something nice, not needing any work. Budget ideally between £300 and £400.

If it helps i'm happy to throw in either my 92 or 96 lava dome into the mix. Both are in great nick, see below

Old steel bike with modern bits - SORTED WITH A MERCIAN

Just took delivery of a lovely dark red Mercian Classic from 1985. Must take a pic but its in almost new condition with a mix of suntour, shimano and campag hubs. Though it has these tubular rims with tyres you glue on. I must have lead a sheltered life on the mountain bikes and but i just don't understand that. They'll have to go!

Oh, and its got suntour down tube shifters. Maybe the modern bits aren't that important afterall....

And one of the mountain bikes will have to go to pay for it. Ho hum.
