Wanted: Mavic SSC 862 Braze-on front derailleur

Re:

Hi, be careful what you ask for as the 862 is the Italian fitting, the band on version ( which you seem to have ) is the 860 and the french braze on fitting is the is 861 although everyone just seems to refer to the SSC front mech as the 862 ? . I have made the mistake myself but suspect I should have looked at the photos a bit closer

Thanks for the warning: it’s to fit a braze on so surely there’s only one size and it’s the 862.

I don't know the exact type but I have this:

The cage looks not so nice, otherwise it's fine.
The cage is interchangeable with all Mavic front derailleur cages, including the 840 series.
25,- EU plus shipping.
Cheers,
Falk

Re:

French one not the one I am looking for unfortunately: I'm looking for the 862 (Italian) braze-on but must be very good condition.

Thanks

Thanks Falk- a few questions:

Do you need a tool to remove the clips and to force the pins out to swap cages?

Can you take a pic from the side so I can see the braze-on- it looks Italian version, but I want to make sure.

How much to post to England?

No special tool was needed to interchange the cages. Allen wrench for the bolt and screwdriver for the clip. I pressed the pins out with a small allen wrench, they are not sitting completely tight.
I can take a picture from the side, but I will not be there before tomorrow night. The derailleur was mounted on my Masi with an Italian braze-on.
Shipping should be possible for less then 8 Euros in an envelope (registered letter).
