Wanted Hope C2 Torsion arm.

Hi people.

I have a hope torsion arm with the bleed nipple broken off and seized inside. Bummer. Does anyone have one lying around that I could acquire? Either the whole brake, the complete calliper or just the torsion arm half I could work with. I have a black brake but a complete silver would also be fine as it would match my front one.

In the process of restoring my Zaskar LE with the machined dropouts (199 so bolt on disc brake mounts don't seem to work (unless anyone has a fix).

Any help is much appreciated.

Sorry cant help with one but what you want is a Hope caliper no2 front 1/2, not the torsion arm itself.
Might be lucky, but I think your best bet is to keep watching ebay. They do pop up time to time but usual entire brake, and sometimes wheels too.

Final option is to give it to a small engineering shop and ask them to extract without damaging the threads, or doing the best they can, which is usually spot on.
If it cannot be extracted without damaging the threads, look to see what other bleed nipple options there are out there and might find something one size larger, which could likely be tapped in without the need to drill first.

I've added a couple of pictures which hopefully show the offending calliper better. Yes, I certainly will try to get an engineer to fix this post-lockdown.
