WANTED: Cheap rigid MTB/Hybrid 17-19" east mids area

Hi everyone,

Been away from the mountain biking thing for a while due to various reasons, looking for a cheap run-around to get back into it whilst I fix up the Lava Dome to hit the trails proper!

Age and condition not too important so long as it is rideable, 17-19" frame and rigid forks are a must though.

Anyone got anything languishing in the shed I can make use of?

Was just about to list an 18" Dawes rough trade.

501 lugged frame, cromo forks, xt thumbies, xt hubbed Mavic wheels, lx crankset, shimano basic cantis, xt levers, bontrager race bars, flite saddle, xt flat pedals, Stx front mech and I think xt rear.

Everything is in good condition and bike is ready to ride.

£80 collected Wellesbourne Warwickshire.

Thanks Chris, sounds really nice, maybe a bit nicer than I was looking for to be honest, I'm really looking for a sub-£50 shonker. That said, I am very tempted, if you were closer or I was heading down that way I would probably bite......
