Wanted Want to buy titanium road frame or set

Also the slew of XACD Ti frames from the naughties - you might get lucky and get one for £250. Lots of people bought direct from the factory and that same factory made the Ti frames for Van Nicholas and Planet X, so not low quality.

My understanding, at least for Van Nicholas, they were not made at that factory, but this:

XACD did indeed offer custom to individuals, and OEM to several brands. I suspect less so for road bikes.

I’d look out for one of the welded Raleighs. With a bit of patience you might find one within your budget.
They use a lower grade titanium than most, but are well designed and ride great
In what way are the welded Raleigh Titanium frames "lower grade"? Given the tubes come from either IMI in Birmingham or latterly from the former IMI site in Swansea that was taken over by TIMET (hence the badge name change), I'd be interested to know what you know regards the Titanium tubes that Raleigh were supplied with that's lesser than "most"
