The Exage front is a more modern replacement that will go in a drawer; I'll hunt down a 6100/600 to match the rear.
The filth was pretty impressive.
All apart.
Ready for a bath in the ultrasonic cleaner.
And after that + a lot of elbow grease.
Almost there; I'll do a careful enamel paint fill to tidy up the logo engraving.
And all done! A nicely made chunk of metal that led onto great things for Shimano - later 600 of course, then Ultegra and Deore!
