Lovely frame, but with the addition of farmers style twine it takes me right back to being a kid and MTBing through farmers fields & land...
The joys of ‘90s British “mountain” biking across a field before the age of disc brakes. Straddle cables disconnected otherwise the wheels wouldn’t turn due to the amount of field the tyres had collected!
Indeed, some of those fields would sap the strength right out of you and add another few pounds of mud to a bike to a bike that already weighed +32lbs!
Although being brought up in South Wales, many of these fields formed part of a proper mountain and many a farmer found us quite amusing to watch, whilst the odd one would take objection to us riding through their land and decide to get out the shotgun out and fire a few warning shots! Ah the good ol’ Days!
