Recently I was contacted (through RB) by the Associate Editor of 'Ride-On Magazine' here in Australia (nice Bloke BTW) who was putting together a piece on the preservation & restoration of bikes throughout their ~ 120 year history. Iain was particularly interested in the restoration of MTB's, which in the grand scheme of things are really just 'Johnny-come-latelys', yet are getting more than their fair share of 'love' from the restoration set (aka, us). After a bit of 'back & forward' with myself & obviously numerous other contributors to the content, the article below was set in print in the Feb-March edition of the Mag that was released about a Month ago.
