VINTAGE MTB CLOTHING - anyone else into this?

Wondering if any of you nerds are also into vintage MTB clothing? I have quite the collection of niche hats, shirts, and sweatshirts from the golden era.

Lemme see what you got!
Hey there.

Are you into swaps? Still got Yeti gear if that´s interessting for you. Would like to add that shirt to my Merlin related collection 👋

Cheers

Definitely into this in theory.

But have yet to find anything, other than the epic Chris King baseball cap (thanks J) currently (and let's be honest, almost always) on my head, that either fits or I can afford.

Like everything else related to all things 80s and 90s MTB, prices are, by-and-large, out of control right now.

I do have a couple of Salsa T-shirts in my watchlist at the moment, but doubt I'll pull the trigger. I keep an eye out at the flea markets and swaps, hoping to get lucky, but alas...

That Merlin t-shirt is amazing tho! Gimme!

Also, yeah, let's see those bikes!

After a recent purchase from a fellow Fat Chance fan on here, the seller kindly threw in this pair of embroidered socks as a bonus with the main purchase.

A nice little touch 👍

In the late 80s we wore things like this.

We thought we were cool.

In the 1990s we thought that was very uncool, so we wore these:

Last weekend I thought that was very uncool, so I wore this:

Frankly, I've completely lost a grip on what's cool anymore...

This is a crappy selfie I've taken just now. It's a '93, I believe Ned Overend used to wear the same thing. It has been my "pandemic indoor" clothing for the last nearly 2 years. I bet in the right environment someone might still find it cool. 20211228_172038.jpg
