Always interesting stuff here. The Automoto restoration must have been a labour of love - stunning. The Pug with the hub gear answers some questions I've been toying with: how to run the cable? Interesting way of doing it, then using the gear lever boss to attach a bell Looks like someone already got the file out too and made an attempt to convert the Simplex dropout to a Campag compatible one.

Thanks mate. @Woz The cable run is like a 50s British clubman, I've always liked this style, it is more conventional however to have the cable stop nearer the head tube and the roller is usually at the top of the seat tube. I thought the bell mount was neat unlike the butchered dropout. The Automoto is very special, very collectable and sought after.

1950s Mercier porteur. So many beautiful details on this. The lining is exceptional, the embossed brand on the mudguards. The drop shadow text, just very nice.
