Dardenne built machines all the way into his 90s, his son also built. Daniel Rebour drew one of his custom stems. He is in the "second tier" of master constructeurs working in the Paris suburbs back in the day. I say second tier not because of poor quality, but in terms of public awareness. Dardenne did sponsor racers, including one who won a stage in the TdF in '48. He continued to sponsor racers at least into the '70s.
Unknown campeur. Note the extra braze on, on the left hand seat stay. Also the third fixing for the rear rack on both. Top of the range touring bicycle in its day.
