Welcome, @kendoNaga !

It's not a high end model, but for £20 you did well. The pedals look to be Lyotard 460D's, and those alone are worth the price of admission, IMO.

Looks like a clean & lube is pretty much all it needs to get it back on the road. FYI: Koolstop makes excellent - if somewhat pricey - pads for those Weinmann brakes, should you need to replace them.

Enjoy!

I'd put money on that starting out as a Black Diamond as it's the only Falcon-badged model I remember in that silver with half-chrome forks and centre pull brakes. OK, the chain set isn't the usual one but it wasn't unknown for the kids in the Brigg factory to put on whatever they had to hand rather than stop the line. The original 5 speed back wheel could have been replaced with a six-speed at anytime over the last 40 years.

Thanks Jim, I'm away in Carmarthenshire till next week then I'll check it over regrease and take it for a spin see what it needs or doesn't need. It deffo needs a clean and I'm think a polish and probrably a paint and new decals. I've got another bike to to work on a Raliegh Banana I paid £50 for that's in great condition even been ridden to Amsterdam and back from Nottingham lol I'll repost images as I go. Its deffo a Falcon Black Diamond but not sure what year. I did see the brakes it has are 1979 but don't know if they ran those brakes for a fair few years or not and or if they came in the bike from new. Atb Ken
