Well... they were good enough for Reg Harris et al on the track and lots of riders on the Eroica will be wearing similar, but I doubt whether they'd pass the Snell B-95 standard!

Laurence...you are a medical student....so have a guess?....I'd say very little....Would you agree?

The hairnet was standard back in the old days.

I'd trust it whilst using my turbo! However, each to their own and it does look in good condition.....Might be good for Heane Hill.
