Vintage Alpha titanium bike

well here's a mystery I have been trying to figure out for a few years...I bought a supposed vintage Mcmahon titanium bike off of eBay. the owner had it described as being "most likely a MacMahon Cycles Ti bike but was not 100% sure
I built it up and have enjoyed riding it but now believe that it's not a Mcmahon due to the serial number. I have heard that this may be an Alpha Ti bike and know nothing about the frame or builder.
My Serial number is A18023 or Alpha 18' frame and number 23 for that production year. Turns out that my buddy Retro Roy has one as well..
Any info would be appreciated
Merry Christmas Gents!

Re:

Got an Alpha ti frame a long time ago. The brand was ASAMA from Canada and the Alpha ti frame was made by Sandvik, the same maker as McMahon. So, they got both wishbone, Ubrake bosses and the same dropouts as the really first HeyHey. On other hand, the first 92 Hey Hey frames an Dean were exactly the same, both made by Sandvik.
But difficult to recognize a McMahon : some got wishbone, some not, 1" headtube or 1"1/8, different dropout...

that is very helpful, I will look at some of your photos for comparison, but I may have an Asama as well, wishbone seat stays and drop outs look like my bike
cheers
Geoff

not sure if this makes still sense to post, just came across an old test of an Alpha Titanium Bike and used Google to find this thread
