I figured this little puzzle out..!?
It's the Stoke Newington, brogues and beards mob.
They are a group of late 20's, early thirties demographic.. who have taken an interest in old bikes.
However, unlike us, they like their creature comforts..
High end bikes.. but with addition of discs..no canti brakes for this mollycoddled lot..
Expect the bike frames to have v brake bosses hacked off and disc mounts welded on at the back too.

well the 26" mtb does make a great urban bike.
