For Sale Very original and clean 80s Muddy Fox for sale.

My neighbour passed away lately, selling for his widow. He was a ski instructor but one summer they did some training event for the Army and he was given this bike. We think it's late 80s. Very original and in almost perfect condition. Based in Aviemore but could meet you within 50 miles or so. Happy to pack it for courier collection free.

Open to sensible offers. Saw one on ebay that wasn't quite as nice for £500 but don't want to seem greedy. £400 would certainly secure it. Can't see any rust on the frame. Even has original Muddy Fox tyres that seem surprisingly good. Tempted to keep it myself but I ride an old Marin I'm quite happy with.

Very nice, and a model that brings back memories for many of us I'm sure. It does however need a firm asking price, as per the rules

Could you also measure the size of the frame please (seat tube), from centre of bottom bracket to the centre of the top tube.

Yeah it really does. I have a tourer I use as a shopping bike, there's no substitute for a good sturdy rack
