Very old GT

Hi all, my friend next door has a at least 20 yr old GT bmx hidden in his garrage and claims it is one of a few made. its an in between a junior and adult size frame, is this true? it looks awsome! and has the first mags!!! wheels to die for! feedback needed! do i put an offer in?
