I stumbled on a very interesting Marketplace listing a couple of weeks ago. I’m fairly confident that this is a legitimate 1997 Kona Caldera. Made in the USA in very low numbers for a year only!
As a Kona fan, I would have loved to snag it, but it was hours away from home and it sold very quickly.
I worry that at that price, someone got it as a beater bike without knowing what he bought… I’ll keep my eyes open if it reappears someday.
