Vanity Thread - Amber/Skinwall Tyres

Afternoon all.

I'm after a pair of tyres (26") for my new singlespeed build and being a bit of a tarty build (if I want to go fast I'll use my Alpine 160) I really want some skinwall-esque tyres.

I know there was the Onzas and Charge Splashbacks but I've seen some Schwalbe Rocket Rons too.

What are my options for something XC-ey (something 26" x 2.2ish and fast rolling would be ideal!) and does anyone know of anywhere with any in stock?

Options are very limited :cry: , but there is the Schwalbe Table Top which I have found to be an excellent xc tyre..
They are available as a "Classic" version for €52.15 delivered from Bike24.com. These are a sensible 2.25 unlike the huge by comparison Onza Ibex/Canis 2.25 which turned out bigger than the 2.35 Kenda Small Block 8 skinwalls that I have (sadly no longer available).

Thats what its aimed at, but its capable of a lot more than that & way more than the Splashback ever was.

I'll take a closer look. The Splashback doesn't really feature on my list, even if I could find a pair of them!

There's always the trusty Panaracer Smoke.

There's a place with some for sale on Eblag for £37 at the moment. Still a good tyre.
