Using normal tyres and tubes with tubeless wheels?

Hey, just a quick question. Can you run normal inner tubes and tyres on tubeless wheels? Any help would be great. Thanks Rob

Yes. Unless you're using up stock in your cave there's no real advantage though.

What sort of tubeless rims are they?
You may be able to use your normal tyres tubeless.

They'll be Deemax wheels with conti vertical wire tyres.

Ah, "proper" UST.

More hassle than its worth then.

How is it a hassle?

The deep wheel well and lack of UST bead in the tyre means that it's a bugger to seat, then you've got a high(ish) risk of burping as the tyres don't lock into the rim, which is what UST relies on.

BST/ZTR rims are far more flexible.

Right got you. Hmm got a brand new set of normal bead tyres sat here. I guess I can use them on something else.
