hello help please so far i have tryed a 26.6 was to loose
just got a 27.0 and thats to tight
i want to put my use seat posts on my konas no luck yet how hard can it be ?

Why not try a 26.8? If that doesn't work, at least you'll know there's nothing more you can do and it's just that the Gods don't like you.

yes 26.8 here we i go thanks fellas ..sure use made shims to fit the classic cinder cone at the time ..will order another now i have two use shims now that dont fit sell on her i guess ..cheers

26.8 would be the next logical step, though I'm in doubt they still used that size in 95? Could be, though, with Kona. You could also write tech at Kona and ask real nice. Usually you get an answer pretty fast. Or find someone here who has one and ask them.

the mans right, get the verns out! and find a mate with a lathe, turned one up for my kona and USE in 20 mins out of some scrap ally, but i do have all the gear at work!! i'm just too tight to buy things really. you can make your own ones longer too, makes me less worried about all that force on the extended seat tube when i have a foot and a half of tube sticking out!

will allso try kona hq and then use to but last time i wrote use it fell on dead ears soon as i get the size right i will spread the good word for other kona users ha ha

I found 2 in my parts bin at the weekend.
A 3rd one is being used on my Hei Hei with a USE post.

No idea how I ended up with 2 spares, but they would definitely have been used on my Konas at some time.

I could mail those 2 to you to see if they're any good?

sounds good to me i have ordered a use shim from chain reaction 26.8 hopefull that will fit i need another tho for my 2nd build kona a 94 cindercone yes please pm me cheers allso how do i get a new ? nos or can i get another impact headset in top nick for my 95 cindercone thanks
