It was! Perfect group size for the nature of the ride I think. Good idea too - I've still not quite connected all the forum names with the real ones!

Never mind the Vaseline, I had 2 packets of Imodium! paying for it now.

Great day out, I was so pleased the weather held out. Nice bunch of people too.
I have to admit that I still feel a lot more comfortable in muddy woods than on the roads of the mad capital, but it was a great experience.

Many thanks to Mark for organising this so well, we didn't get lost once, well only a little.

Strange you should say about the Imodium, I,ve been confined to the bed yesterday and today with stomach cramps, really bad aching shoulder elbow and wrist joints, dizziness and the remarkable ability to pooh through the eye of a needle!

The upside of course is I,ve been looking on the bay for a bike that doesn't get hidden behind everyone else's in the group photos!

That is of course if I can't persuade Vaseline boy to flog his axis.
