Not bad for a 1st attempt I think, I'm going to try and get it on the scales as I estimated 27 lbs which I think might be way too heavy...

Cant wait to see it -

Like big bikes!

(I dont mean fat girls neither...)

Where abouts in Ed are you?

Go on, bring that to the Raleigh meet in the Pentlands this Sunday, see the rides and meets section ;)

Nice bike,
I think it may be lighter than 27Lbs. I picked up a NOS M-Trax 200 cro-mo about a month ago, on the label it stated it was 26.4 Lbs. Its kitted out with STX and Alivio so yours should be a bit lighter. Enjoy it, it's the best bike i've had for years. Look foward to the pics.

Cheers

Pics at last....

Front brake cable has been swapped for an Onza Chill Pill and the front tyre is now a Panaracer Smoke Amberwall in 2.2

After over a year of ownership I decided to check with a magnet and neither the top or the down tube are magnetic.... Assume that means it's ti!!!

I'm beginning to think it's been repainted and had different decals applied....

I found an advert which has the 94 m-trax range and the only one which had LX as standard was the 3000...

So it may have been repainted and changed decals job...

The lugs are steel as is the seat tube and rear end but the top and down tubes are definitely not magnetic!!

The cable stops are also riveted on which makes me suspect further...
