Update: Narrow Wide Chainring 180° flip?

Before multifreewheels and indexing, most front rings were 180 flippable.

If manufacturers were to go back to symmetrical teeth for single up front, they could advertise the fact of double chainring life... and print massive meaningless graphic pseudo-words on both sides!🤯
And sell half less!

Some rings are designed to be flipped to allow for standard or boost fitting. Teeth are the same both ways. Flip it.

I remember when we used to raise our fingers on the tube to reveal our ash spots to attract fellow virtue signallers.

One of my pet peeves is exaggerated decals, so I am with this 100%.

I particularly dislike the extreme branding on rims, and often refuse to slow down to speak to people in case they notice them.

The only ones which you can't flip to my knowledge (on single front ring setups at least) are the SRAM X-Sync/narrow wide ones as the teeth are curved in one direction.
Thanks for the top info @Cloverleaf.
I'm waiting for some acetone to try to remove the decal but should it not work, I'll be flipping it 👌🏼
