Fireman don't all have second jobs, that's tosh.
I also know that the figure highlighted for the lorry drivers during the dispute was only an average and spin spun by the media to deflate the strike.
The media are @><kers, during the last pay dispute I spent the best part of a month on picket and unpaid. At this time the Sun labelled us as " Saddam's Hench Men".
It must be true as it was stated in a paper.
I believe in strike action and it is not just lazy bastards skiving or creating a difficult environment for the population. It is means to creating and preserving better working conditions.
People were dying in the last century due to poor conditions, unions and the abilty to strike helped changed this.
The problem is we live in a consumer society which doesn't like to be inconvenienced buy others making a stand.
We should stand behind this sort of action as it can only be good for everyone. We are being shafted totally on all fronts.
These are just a few of my thoughts and opinions. If you don't agree I don't mind and that is cool and I don't wish to argue.
