I have got an almost identical set up on my plastic (from 2000 so retro now?) bike - 7700 groupset but not those brakes. I even have the same seatpost and a millenium stem. That seatpost may not look very nice but it is the easiest to set up and the most secure I have ever used.

I decided to sell this on in the end - my bad back just isn't cut out for road just at the mo so I let it go - beautiful bike tho and now resident somewhere down in Somerset!
