So how do people protect their crops? The mice love our beetroots and potatoes. A Super Soaker does a good job of keeping the birds away. They only have to see us now and away they go.

Well a good year for apple's, blackberry's, blackcurrant's ,damsons.
Strawberries naff all . Down sizing plot area .
Planning on working the smaller area smarter .
Plenty to this winter .

Plenty of blossom on fruit trees and black current bushes. Fingers crossed for this year. Ground slowly drying out .

Demolished an old shed over winter. The whole thing was covered with galvanised sheets. Finally got rid of it . Sadly little scrap value so in the skip it went .
More digging to do . Sweet corn to plant middle of May.
