I'm trying to change my handle to 'once had a lot of Oranges' but I'm still a long way off that.
A build of two new jump bikes has meant lack of space is driving us mad, so things really need to shift.
One thing is this: a really original C16R 1996 - everything as it should be. I've noted the 80-120 gbp care-worn examples which have been coming up -like the nickel P7 resto which is being done right now, dented top tube and all. Which suggests a price of around 180 gbp for this one. Original FIR gold rims which are perfect. All ancillaries stem, barends, etc original. Original saddle etc. No dints or dings anywhere, just patina which needs addressing. I've been looking at it trying to find the time to do it, but complex new builds for DH and jump are consuming all available time.
Some people have asked about bits - I'm prepared to consider breaking up - would be a shame but hey ho - just ask for what you want and we can see what can happen. In some instances, individual wheels, LX and STX group etc I do have equivalent in the many Orange boxes.
