Unknown Noleen rear shock

Can anyone tell me where this shock should reside? :?
It has been in my spares box for a few years.
I seem to remember it might have come off a K2 proflex but am not sure.

Does anyone know?

It's an odd one. Certainly not one of the older Proflexes, I don't think. K2 - quite possibly. Is the shaft fully inserted or something?

My recently acquired example has an air shock, but that one looks like it would fit.

If it was off a razorback shouldn't the seat stays attach to it at some point??

(Or am I thinking of something else entirely??)
