Mr-butters
Retro Newbie
For sale is my old road bike, I purchased it in the late 90s and it was quite old then.
SOLD AND COLLECTED
More photos below
The bike is in a sold as seen condition and is definitely a project for someone. Unfortunately the bike was volunteered for a university art project, which meant a hole with drilled in the rear hub and it was never really re-built when brought back on the train. The rest of the bike is in working order, but needs re-building.
To clarify, the bike is:
Steel frame (unknown brand as it had been resprayed when I bought it)
22" Frame (Centre of BB to top of frame)
21" top tube
Peugeot cranks
Campag downtube shifters
105 rear mech
Exage 300ex front mech
Exage 500ex brakes
6 Speed screw on cassette
Most of the other bits appear unbranded.
No cables
Wheels are without axles and need new bearings. I'm not sure if the rear hub is salvageable or not due to the 8mm hole drilled in the centre of it.
If someone wants to pay £20 and collect it from Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire, its theirs.
