unknown alloy framed orange

hi looking for any info on an alloy framed orange ive just aquired,frame number is A50601857,if anyone can help identify model and age,would be very gratful

If it's Orange (pics help) look in the 1995 and possibly 1996 catalogues that are in the Archive.

also, tell us if the headtube takes 1" or 1.1/8" headset. This can help date things and really narrow it down. Ta.

I think it must be an E3, as that was the only aluminium frame in the 96 range. I'm assuming it's a 96 model, as I doubt they were still making 95 model frames in June 1995, although it isn't impossible.

Generally speaking, if it's a 1995 E3, it should have a canti bridge, if it's a 96 it probably has a little noodle attached to the seat tube instead.

will get sum pic`s up 2 morrow cheers,it`d should have canti`s on it,but had xt v`s put on,it`s 1"steerer,with rockshox judy xc`s with them cumbley cartridges in them,had another quick look it has the canti bridge on the rear end,also can anyone advise what the replacement springs are like instead of replacing the cartridges,cheers all mick
