Sorry all for not updating this or answering comments
Other things in life have taken priority over bikes during the last 6 months so progress has slowed/stopped on this & other projects.
I didn't take the Univega project forward because of the scarcity of decals/stickers. Gil offered to do a set but from scratch which would have cost a fortune & after spending weeks trawling the net for suitable ones I gave up! I do have a number of parts ready for the bike - stem, bars, xt shifters, brakes etc. etc. - now need some incentives to move on
I don't want to do an exact replica of the original but prefer to use contemporary bits to build an era correct (ish) bike on, what is, a good frame.
As for the other three Cannondales in the garage - they will have to wait for another day or sadly get sold off. Just lack the enthusiasm/money/space/time to carry them off
