I think mine will be the first.

so there are 2 issues:

'The 7400 series share a unique attachment method. Instead of the normal bolt there is a threaded protrusion built into the freehub, with it's own unique extractor tool.'

and finding a compatible hyperglide hub.

As for the teeth being worn, I just have no cassette at all, only the wheel

I've got a 13-23 7 speed in decent condition if you're still looking. £20 sounds about right.
