I did see this and had been keeping an eye on it, but my guess is the reserve will still be over 1k as the seller is eternally optimistic. Shame about the dent and it was never mentioned in previous ads I guess it is new (it may mean the reserve is lower now too, but I wont hold my breath).
Last time it came up for sale I think it was decided it wasn't the '88 prestige (the 88 had fastback stays and a different paint finish) but an '89 Limited Edition frame with the horrid gold components on it, someone actually posted the catalogue page with it on and it was nowhere near 5k new.

A real '88 or '89 Limited Edition with the correct components on it would be far more desirable to me I think.
That's not to say I wouldn't be tempted if the reserve was a couple of hundred.
For now though I have to say my attention is elsewhere.

Chaps - my mixed-metaphorical heads up was proverbially tongue in cheek - it'd be like owning an original sonny crockett white jacket - you wouldn't want to wear it, you wouldn't want anyone to know you had it and you certainly wouldn't show it off on a saturday night :shock:
