Great area for riding if you have time.
Cotswold scarp fun available at Cranham Woods, including Coopers Hill, location of the annual cheese rolling competion, is just up the road.
Witcombe is at the bottom of Birdlip hill, featured in Simon Warren's 'Another 100 greatest climbs' book. Famously the first big hill in the now sadly defunct 'Tour of the Cotswolds' road race.
Unfortunately the 417 Bike Park, literally a stones throw away, is closed until 3rd May due to the A417 road widening project.
