Uh-oh

So, the local bike shops don't have anything in stock. Been round about 6 so far. Without an exact reference, they can't order anything, either, "What you need is a new set of wheels".

Thus far, Evans' online support have been hopeless. "No, that's not the freehub you have. Yours looks completely different, here's the spec sheet from Specialized". "These aren't the wheels from the spec sheet" "Yes, but that's the freehub you should have, if you don't have the freehub from the spec sheet it will be a special order" and so on. Still got an email request in with them, hopefully that will find somebody who actually knows what bike wheels look like.

Did a quick dimensioned drawing, sent that and some photos off to Spesh, in the hope they can at least tell me if it's one of theirs, and if so, what reference it is. No reply as yet, but give 'em time.

I think I'm needing a new hub :(

That looks pretty damn close, yeah. The axle doesn't, but the freehub does. another question off to Spesh...

If it's formula, I can get parts.

Cheers!

So, Specialized's "rider support" - total radio silence. Not even a "we don't support second hand bikes" courtesy email. **** you too, Specialized.

By luck, came across a freehub on eBay that not only looked right, but had some dimensions that matched up. A Novatec model, so bunged an email across to Novatec, who confirmed not only that it's a one of their hubs, but exactly which model freehub was needed. Novatec customer support reply, within 2 hours, on a Saturday. Nice one, lads. Ordered the part, DHL 48 hours guaranteed delivery, took 7 days to arrive, the boy is rolling again!

Result (and yes, mattr nailed it, first reply)

It's probably a generic novatech hub
