I've wanted to try out a decent rated tyre combo for my newest hardtail build (butcher & slaughter have good reviews) however, I was also looking at the Maxxis beaver and minion combo.
Kind of want to narrow my options as it's taken me ages just to hone in on these 2 tyre combos from the ocean of choice out there...
So, anyone else got a combo they swear by?
As it's for a hardtail build, I can forgive a little weight, but good puncture resistance is a need as I'll be running tubes. I cannot be bothered with tubeless.
So what's the combo that gets you on the trails all year round?
