Retro Newbie
TVT Carbon Road Bike. SOLD
This is not the modern carbon frame. The carbon tubes are bonded into aluminium lugs. It is a nice light fast machine.
Why am I selling it? Because at 81 I think something more upright would be better for me.
Carbon frame & forks I blue metallic.
Bracket centre to top of seat lug- 24 1/2”, 62cm. toptube length 22 1/2”, 57cm. I am 5ft 10& a bit inches and have about 6” of seatpost showing, so it would be OK for shorter or taller riders.

Wheels- Hope titanium hubs, Mavic rims, 18 & 24 spokes.
XTR rear mech, Sun TourXC front
8sp. Cassette
Thorn 170mm cranks, triple chainrings
Speedplay SPD pedals
Profile Design lo-pro bars with bar end levers
Campag Mirage brakes
Avocet O2 titanium framed saddle
weight 19lbs or about 9kg.
£500
I haven't worked out how to add photos.. If you let me have your address I can e-mail some

sorry ... is it a HM Carbone or a HR Carbone - you can see it on the with TVT engraved Head and Seat lugs

Re: TVT

Thanks ror the queries.
There is nothing engraved on head or seat lugs. A transfer on the top tube says Carbone HR and the model is "Sonate"

Re:

Hi PedalPower2

First let me say what a good show, looking for a new bike at the age of 81!!

Can I ask where you are?

I am in Manchester and would like to take a look if you are near enough.

Other than that is there any chance of some pictures?

Cheers

Steve

Hi Steve
My location is Harby Lricestershire, about 15 miles from Nottingham. I don't know how to post photos on this forum but I can e-mail them if you are not one of those I have already sent some to.
